I wish I knew a good freeware install monitor and uninstaller. I am using Ashampoo Uninstaller, which takes about two minutes making a snapshot of your file structure and registry before you can install (I have a quad core).felisgrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02392519020216565830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006013725798354371.post-11541903729115429952008-05-20T15:58:00.000-04:002008-05-20T15:58:00.000-04:00Dan, thank you very much for your helpful comment....Dan, thank you very much for your helpful comment. I got it free from www.giveawayoftheday.com, which gives a different shareware program away free each day, only for that day.

I like AnVir a lot, but I'm Jonathan Plutchokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00611661473758716824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006013725798354371.post-56641920427886018812008-01-24T15:00:00.000-05:002008-01-24T15:00:00.000-05:00This morning my computer's hard disk was doing rea...This morning my computer's hard disk was doing read-writes for four hours. Through trial and error, I eventually isolated the source of the problem to my McAffee anti-virus program. It would have been nice to have a utility that identifies which program is causing the disk activity. Do you know of such an application?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
